Mark 10:45-47

New Matthew Bible

⁴⁵ For even the Son of man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life for the redemption of many.

⁴⁶ And they came to Jericho. And as he was going out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, Bartimaeus the son of Timeus, who was blind, sat by the side of the high road, begging. ⁴⁷ And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to call out and to say, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!
